Did you know that Albizu University has a department specifically dedicated to providing resources that support your success both during your academic journey and beyond graduation?
The Tutoring, Career, and Advisement Services (TCAS) Department, led by Dr. Claudia Dolinsky, offers valuable support for students seeking tutoring, academic resources, APA guidance, and career readiness services.
Career Support and Job Search Assistance
Q: Where can I go to get help with my job search?
A: Dr. Dolinsky meets with students who would like support with identifying employment opportunities, creating strong and effective resumes, and improving interview skills. In addition to the resources available through the tutoring portal on Blackboard, students may schedule an appointment to discuss their job search process directly with Dr. Dolinsky.
Dr. Dolinsky is available in Room 195 from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Students who would like to schedule an appointment may call 305-593-1223, ext. 3135.

Networking is one of the most effective strategies for discovering job opportunities. A strong way to connect and reconnect with professional contacts is to create a profile on LinkedIn. After receiving resume feedback, you can upload your updated resume and use LinkedIn to support job applications. Many employers also allow candidates to sync their LinkedIn profile to pre-populate application fields, saving time and improving accuracy.

Dr. Dolinsky graduated from Purdue University with a B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in Management. She has served as the Director of Student Services at Albizu University since 2005.
