Goodman Psychological Services Center

Goodman Psychological Services Center

The Albizu Clinic (also known as the Goodman Psychological Services Center) has been part of the Miami community since 1980. We are a nonprofit clinic dedicated to providing compassionate, affordable mental health and speech-language services for individuals and families.

Services are delivered by advanced master’s- and doctoral-level trainees under the close supervision of licensed, experienced professionals. This model allows us to provide high-quality care while training the next generation of mental health providers.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, or your family, we are here to help in a safe, welcoming, and culturally responsive environment.

Your well-being matters, and we are honored to be part of your journey.

Doctoral Internship Program

The Pre-Doctoral Internship Program at Albizu Clinic (also known as GPSC) is designed to promote the development of advanced clinical competencies and increasing professional autonomy. Throughout the year, doctoral interns assume progressively greater responsibility while functioning under the supervision of licensed psychologists, preparing them for independent practice in health service psychology.

The internship provides advanced graduate students in clinical psychology with a comprehensive range of training experiences that strengthen both theoretical knowledge and applied clinical skills. Interns gain hands-on experience delivering evidence-based psychological services to culturally and linguistically diverse populations.

Through these experiences, interns develop the competencies necessary to provide ethical, culturally responsive, and evidence-based psychological care while contributing to the clinic’s mission of training future psychologists and improving community mental health.
