Interdisciplinary Baccalaureate (B.I.) Program
The Interdisciplinary Baccalaureate (B.I.) program provides a strong foundation of general education courses that deliberately and systematically integrates the arts and sciences to identify interconnections among the disciplines. This integration allows us to exceed the limits of the disciplines in order to solve problems, propose new questions, produce knowledge, and understand the world around us.
Interdisciplinary Baccalaureate Program with Concentration in Psychology
The Interdisciplinary Baccalaureate program with a concentration in Psychology is designed to prepare students for graduate-level training and careers in psychology. The program establishes the necessary conditions for students to develop their critical thinking and research skills. Students will engage in pre-practicum experiences of real scenarios in order to acquire basic knowledge of human behavior. In addition, students will also develop basic research skills and obtain the tools that will enable them to perform in areas related to psychology.
Interdisciplinary Baccalaureate Program with Concentration in Speech and Language Therapy
The Interdisciplinary Baccalaureate program with a concentration in Speech and Language Therapy helps prepare professionals to contribute to the improvement of people's quality of life and behavior. The concentration integrates theory and practice in clinical exercises so that students acquire the necessary skills that enable them to treat special populations. Graduates have the option of applying to the Board of Examiners for Speech Pathologists, Audiologists and Speech Therapists, licensure for speech and language therapist in Puerto Rico.
