The Center for Institutional Scientific Research (CISR) is the cornerstone of the research community at Albizu University Miami Campus (AU Miami). The purpose of CISR is to foster, identify, and promote excellent research by the faculty and student body across our institution.

1. Foster high quality scientific research at AU Miami by building a culture that encourages scientific inquiry, and by providing resources to get faculty and students started on the research journey and to help guide them along the way.
2. Identify high quality research by faculty and students at AU Miami by engaging with them at every step of the research journey from initial inquiry to development of formal research questions and hypotheses, to helping students connect with supervisors, find mentors, and to helping researchers identify relevant funding institutional and external opportunities.
3. Promote high quality research at AU Miami by providing material and monetary resources for presentation of research at professional conferences and associations, as well as publication in high impact journals and literature, and publicizing of quality research within our academic community, and to the broader scientific community, media, and public at large.
4. Organize and host campus events, workshops, presentations, seminars, and conferences to highlight, promote, and reward high quality research by members of the AU Miami research community.
