The graduate certificate program at our Mayagüez University Center offers students a short course of study to develop competency in a specific subject or specialized topic. Courses can typically be completed in two to three semesters.
Graduate Certificate Program in Autism
This 24 credit, three-semester course trains students on how to serve the needs of people diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and effectively work with their families. Students will learn the principles of cultural diversity and develop the skills for managing interventions and screenings.
