Salary and Benefits

The Doctoral Clinical Internship Program is a year-long, 40 hour/week (full-time) employment commitment. All Goodman Psychological Services Center (GPSC) interns are considered temporary employees of Albizu University (AU). Benefits offered for all full-time interns include: 40 hours of sick leave, 40 hours of vacation leave, all recognized university holidays, and 10 days of university recess (taken between the last week of December and the first week of January). Vacation leave time must be approved by the internship director. Interns will not be allowed to take their vacation leave at the same time. Presently, the internship stipend for GPSC is $20,000. Interns are also eligible to enroll in Albizu University's health insurance plan.
