The Master of Science degrees at Albizu’s Mayagüez University Center provide postgraduate students with a variety of master’s level programs that combine theory and practice within a diverse, multicultural environment.

Master of Science in School Psychology

With a goal of empowering students with the ability to help improve the quality of life of children and adolescents in need, graduates of this program will possess the skills necessary to work as school psychologists in public, private, independent and other educational organizations.

Master of Science in Autism and Other Neurodevelopmental Disorders

This master’s degree provides students with the knowledge and skills to address the special needs of individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and assist their families. Additionally, students will gain a skill set that includes early identification, diagnosis, evaluation, intervention planning and more.

Master of Science in Counseling Psychology

Following the Vail model, this program focuses on professional service, direct practice, evaluation and ongoing improvement of these services in order to enhance the quality of others’ lives.

Master of Science in Speech and Language Pathology

This program trains students to be speech-language pathologists and provide intervention and therapeutic services for children, adolescents, and adults who are dealing with a variety of communication and associated disorders.

Master of Science in Industrial/Organizational (I/O) Psychology

This graduate degree program prepares students to be culturally competent Industrial/Organizational Psychology practitioners. Students will learn to apply scientific knowledge to solve problems in areas including training and development, placement, performance gauging, organizational development and enhancing work-life quality.
