The new space facility for the Michigan Test of English Language Proficiency (MTELP) at Albizu University -Miami Campus, Room 250- that helps prospect students with their testing needs, will provide a proctored, secure, quiet, relaxing environment for test takers.

Rubén Rodríguez shed light on therapies and intervention models

The student chapter of the Puerto Rican Organization of Speech, Language and Hearing Professionals (OPPHLA - UA student chapter), composed of students from the Speech-Language Bachelor degree program at Albizu University, under the mentoring of professor Nitza Rodríguez, recently held  a panel discussion on stuttering. The discussion shed light on the therapies and the intervention models currently in use for treating this condition.

Albizu University and the Violence Prevention and Intervention Division of the Community Action and Human Services Department partnered on a historic academic and advocacy meeting held at our Miami campus.  Last Thursday 330 men attended the “Calling All Men: Stand Up Against Violence” conference at AU.  This was the largest gathering of men in the history of Miami and the largest event of its kind ever held in our campus.
