Final session of “Pathways for Success Scholarship” $10000 Scholarships for Online Master Degrees.

News Release

(Miami, FL) – As part of the final session of “Pathways for Success Scholarship” program of the Department of Education, Carlos Albizu University announced today the availability of $250,000 funds for students who want to complete an online master program in Education, Business or Psychology, the three new online programs at the Miami Campus.  These funds are available for summer 2014, fall 2014, and spring 2015 academic sessions.

The application deadline for the next summer session 2014 for Pathways for Success Scholarship is April 30th, and the funds are available for first-time enrollees, low income and/or unemployed students
applying to our online programs through a very easy click-process at: https://apply.albizu.edu. The student who qualifies for scholarship funds may receive up to $10,000, based on 9 credits hour per semester and will include tuition and fees.

The online Master of Science in TESOL (Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages) is designed for completion in as few as 18 months. 
This MS degree prepares students to work as an English teacher anywhere in a world, where the global need for English language skills is growing.  Who should apply, among others:  Native speakers of English who want to work national or internationally teaching English, International students who are studying in the U.S. and want to teach English overseas, Current Bachelor in Education graduates, tutors and teachers of English language learners at tutoring centers. Professionals working at tutoring centers may also gain an edge.

 

The online Master of Science in Industrial and Organizational (I/O) Psychology may be completed in 16 courses.  The curriculum provides practical training in: selection and placement, training and development, performance measurement, organization development and quality of work life. Who should apply, among others: Graduates of undergraduate psychology, business, and management programs who are independent learners; Human resources practitioners who have not completed a master’s degree yet and are interested in career advancement; It is helpful for applicants to have had some coursework in research methodology and statistics as well as experience taking online courses; Those who are interested in working in a variety of business settings, including consulting on their own, will find the I/O field rewarding.

 

The online Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) it´s a fast track program to be completed in just16 months and offers three concentrations in Organizational Management, Non-Profit Management and Entrepreneurship.  The program prepares culturally sensitive industry leaders to respond to the special and unique needs of today’s multi-cultural business environment.  Who should apply, among others:  This program is a perfect solution to full-time working professionals (90% completion ratio for working adults), allowing individuals from all backgrounds to earn their MBA at a pace that works with demanding lifestyles.; student who wants a convenient 24/7 class schedules and a faculty body comprised of senior executives with corporate experience.
