The Certificate in Mathematics Education (Grades 5 through 9) is designed for students planning to teach in this field and for current teachers in other fields preparing for a career change.

The program meets the coursework requirements to apply to take the Florida Department of Education examination for certification in Middle Grades Mathematics (Grades 5-9).
